Child safety standards
ClubShack is a private membership app for amateur radio clubs, for people aged 13 and over. We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation.
Who these standards protect
Joining a club requires its approval. Clubs remain responsible for their own safeguarding arrangements, alongside ClubShack’s responsibilities for the service. These standards protect anyone under 18 and apply to profiles, images, adverts, notices, club chat and private messages.
What is prohibited
We prohibit child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, sexual extortion, and any content or conduct that facilitates the abuse or exploitation of a child. No person may use ClubShack to arrange or encourage this conduct outside the app either.
Report a concern
Use Report on a profile, advert or message. You can also Block another member. In-app reports go to your club’s authorised committee. The app explains which content is shared with a report.
If a concern involves the committee itself, the committee cannot be reached, or a child-safety concern needs escalation to the service operator, contact hello@clubshack.app. Do not email or forward suspected illegal images or videos. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency service.
How we respond
The responsible club must review child-safety reports and escalate concerns to ClubShack where they affect the platform, involve the committee or require a platform response. The service owner handles reports escalated directly to ClubShack, including when the committee is conflicted or unavailable.
When we become aware of suspected CSAM or exploitation, we act to restrict access to the content and accounts, preserve and handle evidence only as lawfully necessary, and report or refer the matter to the appropriate regional or national authority in accordance with applicable law. Content and accounts that break these standards may be removed or suspended.
