Community rules
ClubShack is for your club’s members, so treat it like a club night: friendly, helpful and on topic.
Be kind
- No harassment, bullying, threats or abuse, and nothing hateful about anyone’s race, religion, sex, sexuality, gender identity, disability or age.
- No sexual content, and nothing violent or shocking.
- Disagree about the hobby as much as you like; don’t make it personal.
Be honest
- Use your own name and your own call sign. Don’t pretend to be someone else, or to be on the committee if you aren’t.
- Describe equipment you advertise fairly, including faults. Only advertise what you own and may sell or lend.
- No scams, spam or advertising for businesses, unless your committee says it’s welcome.
Keep people safe
- Don’t share other people’s contact details, photos or private messages without their agreement.
- Nothing illegal: no stolen equipment, nothing that breaks licence conditions or radio law, and no help with either.
- Never ask anyone for their password or authenticator codes.
- Payment links aren’t allowed in notices and adverts. Agree how to pay in person or by message, and be careful.
Reporting and blocking
If something breaks these rules, report it from the profile, advert or message (Report). Your club’s committee sees the report, not the person you report. You can also block someone so you no longer see their messages.
The committee can remove content, warn members and suspend accounts. It writes down why, and you can ask it to look again. If you think a committee isn’t handling something properly, email hello@clubshack.app.
In an emergency, or if someone is in danger, call 999.
